ORGANIZATION OF INFORMATION I: Research Paper

THE ASSIGNMENT
Professor's Instruction:  
1. Type of Paper
This is a research paper assignment. There is no required type of this paper, but students may use one of the following two types: Problem Report or Concept Briefing Report.

2. Topic of Paper 

Students will choose their interesting topics which must be related to information organization. The instructor recommends you to start from the readings list (see the course syllabus). The readings list includes key articles which are related to each topic and you should use them as seed documents.(...) After reading these resources, you may decide to write a paper on 'comparison between vocabulary vs. natural language'. Then, you need to find additional resources to write a research paper on this specific topic. In order words, you can use readings list as seed document, but you have to pick a specific topic and expand the topic by reading additional readings.
